Meredith Miller's Pretty In Pink Shirts
pretty_in_pink

A Few Words from Meredith Miller:

Last October, I raced in pink in partnership with California Giant to promote awareness of Breast Cancer month. I knew I wanted to do more than simply wear pink, and a relationship with Hope Lives! The Lydia Dody Breast Cancer Foundation (link: http://www.hopelives.org/) was born. The Fort Collins based non-profit provides local breast cancer patients with complementary care and lifestyle support during breast cancer treatment.

I invited sponsors, friends and fans to become “Pretty in Pink” with me. The response far exceeded my expectations. More than 175 individuals and businesses participated in these fundraising efforts. Together, we raised nearly $8000 for Hope Lives!

Pretty in Pink is back this year -- with partners new and old. By all accounts, this year will be bigger, better and pinker than the last. Stomach of Anger has stepped up to create Pretty in Pink merchandise so that you can look good while doing good. 100% of the proceeds from tee-shirt and jersey sales will benefit Hope Lives!

Beyond the clothing sold here, there are other ways individuals and business can get involved. Locally, I will host a silent auction in Fort Collins on October 11, 2011 at Backcountry Provisions. The pink! online raffle will launch the same night to give those outside of the Front Range an opportunity to get their hands on some super sweet auction items my sponsors and supporters have donated.

Together, I would like to see us raise $10,000 for Hope Lives! Will you join me?
