This week we take a look at Amanda Miller’s 48 cm (XS) 2016 Focus Mares.  By the way the wind kept trying to blow it into Dixon Reservoir while I was shooting, I’d guess it comes in at the high 15 to low 16 pound range. Miller has 4 nearly identical cx bikes to race and train on, this one gets raced locally and in Europe. She’s piloted the Mares to several impressive results thus far;  a 4th place at the Cross Vegas WC and 5th place at the Valkenburg World Cup, but she has bigger plans, according to the most recent Warren Cycling Podcast, she’s racing for a podium at a World Cup, a podium at Nationals and a top ten at Worlds. Be sure to listen to the full interview embedded below, Amanda’s career will be taking some interesting turns in 2017.

The rest of Millers season includes the final C1 weekend in the USA in Broken Arrow, OK this weekend, then back to Europe for the next 2 World Cups, then Nationals, then Worlds.

Miller’s bikes are built with Zipp wheels, bar, stem and post, Clement tires and Sram components. She races professionally for the Boulder Cycle Sport/YogaGlo Cyclocross Team. See the full review below
