40 in the Fort video

Registration for the 2012 40 in the Fort opens next Tuesday March 6th. Stay tuned to YGR for more info on that. In the meantime, check out Overlands new video on last years race.

Two tough laps. 7,000 feet of climbing. 40 miles. July 7th, 2012.

REGISTRATION WILL OPEN MARCH 6, 2012

Join us for the 2012 version of the 40 in the Fort. A mountain bike endurance race that will challenge your legs, you lungs, and your handling skills. We had so much fun doing the first one, we thought we'd do it again.

As one racer put it last year, "Finally, a real mountain bike course."

A couple of things:

1. The course will be altered and details will be released closer to the race.  The Mill Creek climb has been removed, but don't fret. We have a few other surprises in store.

2. A limited number of riders will be able to ride in the "Just for Fun" class. Two riders will team up. Each rider will do one lap.  We added this to make the race even more accessible to riders with less experience.

REGISTRATION WILL OPEN ON MARCH 6, 2012.
