Six Day Races to continue as the Four Day Races

"The rumors of my death have been greatly exaggerated"

The ever popular 6 Day Races at the Oval will continue for 2012 but with several changes. Tim Anderson had been running the track style races at CSU since their inception in 2009. The future of the series seemed in doubt when Tim decided to step down as the race director. The FCVA and local series supporters met on the 2nd to decide the future of the series. Here's what they came up with.

Paul Schuler will be taking over with help from Adam Wolf, Mikheil Moucharrafie and the CSU Cycling team.
Switching to a 4 week format.
Switching to an omnium series payout format.
Creating a 30 minute geared race.
Current dates are Sundays-May 13th, 20th, 27th and June 3rd.
