After strong performances in the World Cup final in Windham NY, Fort Collins residents  Georgia Gould (3rd place) and Skyler Trujillo (9th place) are on their way to  Mount Sainte Ann Canada for the 2010 UCI Mountain Bike World Championships.  Both riders secured their US Team spots by winning National Cross Country Championships  earlier this summer in Granby CO.  Sklyer and Georgia  also won silver medals in the National Short Track Championships.  After a strong and consistent season Georgia finishes the World Cup ranked in forth place.

Does Georgia think she can win?  I think she does.

"I’m going in to win. Why not? I’ve beaten everyone that’s there.
I know its something I am capable of. I also know it’s something that
requires everything to line up just right. It would be a fantastic
result, but it’s not just a fantasy. It’s not an unreasonable goal, not
at all."

Skyler will be racing Friday and Georgia will be racin on Sat.
