The 411

This is an awesome TT and one of the reasons for this site.  This series has been going on since 2003 but we didn’t hear about it until the end of 2006 and we like to think of ourselves as fairly informed.  It used to be free but now it costs you $10.00 to suffer like a dog.

The Start

Basically the same place as The Wednesday Worlds, the Start/Finish is at the intersection of  the Eastern I25 Frontage Road and Mountain Vista Dr.  Not sure of the exact dates and times yet.  In 2008 they were on Thursdays in May and June, with the first rider of at 6pm.   Start Map

The Route

The course is a 10.2 mile out and back along the I25 Frontage road The windy course is mostly flat, having about 250 feet of elevation gain. Route Map

The Finish

Same as the start.

Note:

Some of us are hoping  that this ride moves to  Tuesdays.  Doing the GRTT  on Tuesdays and the Wednesday Worlds Wednesdays would be a fantastic couple of days training  and would have ample recovery time before the weekend races.   Having the race on Thursdays eliminates one very valuable recovery day.
