A few of us came out and TTed in the rain yesterday. Turned out to be a pretty fast night.
Came close but still couldn't beat that damn Mike Williams. He swept the whole series. Nice job Mike.
Colorado Premier Training and yourgroupride.com are working on the details for extending the TT series further into this summer and growing it for next year. Your input is welcome.

Are you ready for the TT at Salida?

Tomorrow is the last day to sharpen the blade and test the equipment with some real competition before Fridays time trail.
-
- First rider off at 6pm Riders off every 30 seconds
- Please get there 15 min. early to make your mark on the excel spreadsheet and get inked.
- Please ride your bike out to the start. Its the perfect warm up, takes about an hour. (there are places to park if you need to drive out)
- Study the course so you know where you are going, we aint got no fancy course marshals or follow vehicles.
- Watch the train tracks. Probably want to get out of your aero tuck for 'em.
- It's a 10.29 mile course.

- The course starts at the Corner of Owl Canyon and Terry Lake Road and finishes on the cement plant climb.

- Breakaway division (bikes must be mass start legal, ie no areo bars, aero helmets......)

Here are the results from this weeks TT.
Diana Hassel has set the women's course record 25:42.
Ian Holt set the stock record @ 24:09.
I am planning on doing it for at least one more week, but might consider extending it if there is enough interest. I'm also interested in feedback from those who have done the race and those who haven't. Let me know what we can do better or why you haven't been coming out.

It's time trial Tuesday again.
Although the numbers haven't been huge, the competition has been pretty fierce. This week will be no different. Personally, I'm trying to take another 30 seconds off my time (without resorting to the fancy wheels, saving those for next week.) I know Mike Williams is trying to go below 20 minutes and if Tejay shows, I'm sure he's looking to get the course record back.

Well Nick Fery of Ciclismo picked up the gauntlet and smashed it on the ground at this weeks YGR TT. Besting TeJays time by over a minute. The strong northwest cross tailwind helped propel the 2007 Espoir National Time Trial Champion to the finish. Mike Williams of Peloton Specialized had another strong performance setting a new amateur record with a time of 20:04.
